Ratchet (“we”, “us”) uses a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms to keep the service secure and functional. This page explains what we use and why.

Essential cookies

We set a session cookie when you sign in so the service can authenticate your requests. This cookie expires when you sign out or after a fixed idle period. Without it the app cannot function.

Preference storage

We store lightweight UI preferences (such as theme and sidebar state) in your browser’s local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with third parties.

Third-party scripts

Ratchet integrates with Sentry for error monitoring and Amplitude for product analytics. These services may set their own cookies to correlate sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing the session cookie will sign you out. Clearing local storage will reset your UI preferences.
